The World Bank delegation which arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday, is scheduled to visit Jaffna on Monday (30).
They also met Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera on Sunday (29).
The delegation including the Director of Operations Management of the World Bank, Anna Bjierde, arrived in the island on Sunday (29) morning.
They are scheduled to participate in a round table discussion between multilateral financial institutions, to be held on Tuesday (31) under the chairmanship of the President.
Another purpose of this visit is to monitor the progress of the projects being implemented in Sri Lanka, under World Bank assistance.
